    Planted mine 08/15, then 3 days of drizzle. All coming in well. Annual plot is 10 months here too.

    The planting only once per year fall program works well for me here in western Kentucky. Adding annual and white clovers sometimes allows a once every 2-3 years (or more) planting program!!

    • @ManagementAdvantage
      @ManagementAdvantage 4 дні тому

      We do that to on some plots. Cereal grains provide that fast greenup and act as a cover crop to let the clover get established ready to take over the following year.

    Finds one sickly old Opposum with Ticks , first I have ever seen on a youtube video or in real life of a possum with ticks. Possums only live for around 2 years in the wild as they die of old age insanely quick, I can't remember the scientific name for it something like senescence but possums age much faster than dogs or most anything.

  • @carolynmccay5728

    Opossums do eat ticks; but not adult ticks. They eat ticks in the larval stages.

    I was told to plant Paulownia trees in 1986. So I did with visions of hundreds thousands of dollars for my retirement. At that time thieves would cut down the Paulownias to taken to a saw mill. One prize tree was rolled down the hill to the Susquehanna and floated to a waiting boat. The value came from the Japanese market who I was told by the State DNR the wood was to be made into, amongst other things, wedding hope chests and music boxes. Good thing I continued to work for the next forty years!
